As of s of March 1, 2011, the Essential Science IndicatorsSM from Clarivate Analytics data were updated to cover an 11-year period, from January 2000 to December 31, 2010. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an additional 1,947 scientists, 298 institutions, 11 countries, and 46 journals that are either entirely new to Essential Science Indicators, or new to one of the database's 22 fields.
