As of July 1, 2011, the Essential Science IndicatorsSM from Clarivate Analytics data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 4-month period, from January 2001 to April 30, 2011. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an additional 3,153 scientists, 483 institutions, 11 countries, and 63 journals that are either entirely new to Essential Science Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields. ScienceWatch.com presents a listing of those New Entrants who showed the greatest total citations.
