Following the latest bimonthly update to Essential Science IndicatorsSM from Thomson Reuters, ScienceWatch.com has produced a listing of the scientists, institutions, countries, and journals that have achieved the highest percentage increase in total citations from the fourth bimonthly period of 2010 to the fifth bimonthly period of 2010—that is, from August to October 2010. These entities are singled out as Rising Stars in their respective fields.
