Abstract: "The photovoltaic performance of polymer bulk
heterojunction solar cells is studied systematically. Using a new
benzodithiophene polymer (PTB7) and PC71BM, a power conversion efficiency
of 7.4% has been achieved in PTB7/PC71BM-blend film, indicating a great
potential and bright future for polymer solar cells."
This 2010 report from Advanced Materials was cited 99
times in current journal articles indexed by
Clarivate during
March-April 2011. During that two-month period, only one other paper
published in the last two years and categorized under the main heading of
chemistry, aside from reviews, collected a higher number of citations.
Prior to the most recent bimonthly tally, citations to the paper have
accrued as follows:
January-February 2011: 36 citations
November-December 2010: 37
September-October 2010: 22
July-August 2010: 6
May-June 2010: 1
Total citations to date: 201

Packaged on a CD that is mailed with each Science Watch issue, the Hot Papers Database contains data on hundreds of highly cited papers published during the last two years. User interface permits searching by author, organization, journal, field, and more. Total citations, as well as citations accrued during successive bimonthly periods, can be assessed and graphed.
