In the U.S. university "Top Ten" rankings that appeared in the
January/February 2007
issue (18[1]), the #3 listing in the Geosciences table, crediting the
University of Maryland, Baltimore, should have specified the University
of Maryland, Baltimore County, a separate institution in the University
System of Maryland.
Also, Harvard University’s #2 rank in Engineering was correct, but
the relative-impact score was mistranscribed and should have read
"+162."
Science Watch regrets the errors. The digital versions have since
been edited to reflect the corrected data. |
