As of May 1, 2011, the Essential Science IndicatorsSM from Clarivate data were updated to cover a 10-year plus 2-month period, from January 2001 to February 28, 2011. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an additional 8,215 scientists, 211 institutions, 31 countries, and 89 journals that are either entirely new to Essential Science Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
