Of papers published by Ohio State University authors in
the last decade, the following 20 have accumulated the
highest citation totals. All the papers were indexed by
Thomson
Reuters between January 1999 and June 2009, and all
list at least one Ohio State-affiliated author.
Most of the papers, such as those from the biennial
series offering the “Review of Particle
Physics,” represent large, multiauthor,
multinational collaborations that include many
institutions along with Ohio State. In all, the list
clearly conveys that Ohio State authors have
contributed to highly visible, influential research in
a variety of fields: not only in physics, but in space
science, molecular biology & genetics, and clinical
medicine.
